Weasel Momma, author of the popular blog World of Weasels, recently asked if I’d like for Tales from the Trips to be the inaugural book discussed during the first ever gathering of her (soon-to-be) illustrious book club. Who was I to say no? If you’d like to see for yourself just how awkward I am in real life, click here to check out the fifteen minute skype conversation the two of us had.

After watching it, I’ve decided that there should be a drinking game played to it. Take a sip everytime I touch my nose (what in the world??). Just make sure you won’t be driving any time soon!

    Just wanted to tell you i LOVE your book! I got it for my hubby for father’s day, and of course just couldn’t let it lay there without reading it myself in the meantime! i was so mad this morning….lovie is about to go into the hospital to have the babies (i think) and my babies woke up….grrr…so i either have to wait until nap time or bedtime to keep reading!! You’re an amazing dad and writer! It also works nicely that i can read your blog to prepare for what my BBG trips will be doing in a few years! They just turned one, so you are preparing me for what’s ahead!!

    HA! You aren’t awkward. Since I haven’t read your book yet, I didn’t realize you went from being single to having 4 kids in 13 months. That’s a unique story for sure.
